Install a antispam software if your current spam filter(you mention a spam box) is not efficient enough.
Be careful where you submit your mail, you might have unknowingly subscribed to some of them, theoretically someone in your household using the same computer.
There is also the possibilitf of malware, there are many products available, but I recommend the free open source Combofix. It's easy to use just read the instructions presented to you.

You can either open each e-mail to click on the option to REMOVE YOUR E-MAIL ADDRESS, or you can opt to click on the unknown e-mail sender's address to mark each as SPAM, or you can consider paying some E-mail corporation to organize your incoming E-mails.
These actions should train your E-mail server to better-organize your incoming E-mails.
