How to temporarily unfriend someone on Facebook? - animalluver!!! - 04-27-2014 11:00 PM
I don't want to actually unfriend my neighbor, but we have different opinions on a few things.
If I post something she doesn't agree with, she will aggressively rant for pages on my post. I don't want her to see some of my posts and pictures with political opinions because I don't want to fight or start Facebook drama.
Is there any way to temporarily unfriend or just stop her from seeing some of my posts/pictures?

You could unfriend him permanently, or make ur privacy settings to custom, who can see your post or tagged you only those u like to share with, or just delete him from your friend list.
Otherwise block him.

you can just add her to your restricted list to prevent her from seeing anyt of your activity - that is much easier and more efficient than try to control he seeing your posts, because she wont be able to see anything you like or comment on either then
plus you can take her off the restricted list anytime you want also, and still be on her friends list

Add Your Neighbor to the Restricted List

For Posts
On the Status Box on the Bottom Click on the Current Setting than Go to Customize Add Your Neighbor to the Exception List
For Photos Go to the Your Photos Under Each Album Click on the People Icon Than Do the Same Thing Go to Customize Add Your Neighbor to the Exception List

you can't temporarily unfriend any member of your friend list. but you can Add any friend in restricted list.

Don't worry dear, just keep him block.
When you think that you need to talk him or anything related with him, then unblock him.
