Does Dropbox take up my own space if I disable the sync? - Masterappliance481 - 04-27-2014 11:03 PM

In this article:

It almost seems like they're saying that if you disable the sync option for a certain folder, it won't be ON your computer, just in Dropbox.

Basically are they saying that if you have a mobile device with limited space, can you disable the sync option so that the files in Dropbox don't take up space? Or... not? Will they be accessible without internet if they're not actually on your device?
Or is that even what they are saying at all?
Thanks! I just don;t think I'm perceiving what the article says correctly. Smile

Correct, if they aren't set to sync to your computer or device, the folder/files won't be sync'd locally.

They won't be accessible if you don't have a data/internet connection.
