Army Reserves to Active guard duty for 92y? - Dena R - 04-27-2014 11:08 PM

I'm in the reserves and I possibly want to go active. Anyone with experience in the Army or 92y know about Agr or going active for this MOS? Good or bad? A needed MOS I've heard.

Check with a recruiter but active army is being drawn down significantly. People are being separated for any and all reasons.

not going to happen. should have went AD from the start. you are prior service. "no room at the inn".. the military is the single largest discriminator of otherwise able-bodied, ready to go, trained, and competant veterans. i personally find that appaling.

here are the most recent prior service business rules from the Army's facebook cahnge.

if you meet the requirements listed, you can retrain into one of the advertised positions. do NOT hold out for a 'glamorous' position!

good luck:
