I remember I had AOL(Hell), and received the infamous "Goodbye" if I did not surf from thier browser in a set time. But I do remeber using a modem to dial up BBS sites as long as 1994. I also connected to a friend directly via modem to exchange files on a wopping 9800 baud. But Internet like today around 1998. |
