just find a company's facebook page and look into it, most of them have it.

the best thing that it will do for your business is alow you to update your customers and potential clients with what you are doing, discounts you may have, or special events. not sure how you will use it for a construction company, but it is a great way to stay in touch with all your employees and prospective customers.
as far as the info you can display, it's almost limitless, you can put on there what ever you want to.

If you're serious about this then go and see your local Chamber of Business. I've been to two seminars run by ours this last year. One about social media in general and the other specifically about Facebook.
There was also a webinar run by Frontier this morning. Their website should have it one their pages either tomorrow or the day after - http://frontiercentral.net/social/facebook/index.html - at the moment it just shows the information tha twas required to watch it.
