Okay so my best friend like my cousin and told him that she liked him through twitter. He said that she was very sweet but that he didn't want a relationship at the time and wanted to date girls from school. What could this mean?
He also said sorry if I ever appeared to be mean.

They also live about 20 minutes away from each other.

It means that he doesn't like getting on the bus and wasting alot of his time to see a girl when he can just get one at his school. She is just backup if anything goes wrong at his school.
