I always pull faces, but they don't look right when I take a selfie.

hmm try to look at a pic of celebrities or another selfie of someone else that you really like, and copy their expression in the mirror and take tons of picz and pick the one that is better than all and edit it, like apply filter and what not,

Ive also foumd that when I apply filters to my selfies they look a lot better even the crapy ones
