Change password as frequent as possible, at least once a month.

1. Use strong alphanumeric password for your Facebook account & keep changing it at frequent intervals. Write it down in secret location or save it in password management software such as LastPass - https://www.lastpass.com
Don't use the same password on other sites

2. Add your cell / mobile number - https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=mobile

3. Enable Login Notifications - https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=security§ion=notifications&Facebook will notify you when your account is accessed from a computer or mobile device that you haven't used before

I use strong passwords generated by Sticky Password http://www.stickypassword.com and also 2 factor authorization for Facebook

Doesn't worry dear,
just open your profile and go into your setting and immediately change your password first.
After that open your privacy setting and then manage it as you like.
If you want to nothing interfere by anyone then blocked him.
Hope this will help you . . .
