i already have a personal facebook page that is all about me and stuff. but i wanna create a fb page separate to that one to post the stories that i write. would i create the page just like i did my personal page or would i go to create a page or group. this is confusing to me. what would i do?

You can do this on the same page. I think you should add notes application to your fan page so it will be easy to post things you write.
