I have an iphone 3gs and i'm trying to download the instagram app, but it says This app requires iOs 4.3. I have no idea what that is or how i get it. Can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

What version of iOS are you using?
1) Open the Settings app
2) Tap 'General'
3) Tap 'About'
4) Scroll down and look for 'Version'
Where are you downloading Instagram from because it sounds like maybe it is an old version.
Is it version 3.1.1
