Media has a big role in this.It can be a center for this if the society or government doesn't use it for their own views only.

The media is essential in any culture and setting. Can you imagine live with the traditional media like tv and radio and now also without internet, mobile and social media? I don't think so.

I don't know about the media, but religion has been a total failure. It has divided mankind up like a sliced pizza.
