Do sellers on ebay have to give you a ...? - Matt - 04-28-2014 12:29 AM

Tracking number. I recently bought a item on ebay and the item had no tracking number so i can track my package.

Possible but most likely not if you believe it to be a scam you must report it.

They don't have to but its common courtesy.

Hmm

A tracking number only benefits the seller against buyer fraud,(and someone has to pay for it)
It only confirms that it's in the post on its way

You are protected if it doesn't turn up

Generally a tracking number is automatically sent to the buyer by either Ebay or Paypal depending on how the seller printed the label..

Email the seller and tell them you'd like to have it.
