Why can't I access my eBay order's tracking number? - D & J - 04-28-2014 12:34 AM
I purchased a book last week off eBay, and I received an email stating it had been shipped and giving me a tracking number. I am very impatient and excited to get my book (a favorite from my childhood) and clicked on the tracking number immediately. I've attempted to click on it every day since.
Each time I click on it, it says that I am neither the buyer nor the seller of the item and am not authorized to see the page. I have made sure to be logged into my eBay account, and the email came to the email account associated with my eBay account, and the money was taken from my debit card, so I know that I did not accidentally order it on anyone else's account.
Has anyone else had a problem like this with their order? How can I find out where my book is?

Copy the tracking number and use that number on the shipper's website, rather than using the link.
