(Ebay) I want to bid on an item in the US...? - Samantha - 04-28-2014 12:35 AM

It says "Enter US $14.99 or more" would it still work if I were to type the money in my own currency?
Oh sorry, I guess I should have mentioned this. It's the UK site. Thanks for the answers!

No. If it's on the US Ebay site, you have to bid and pay in US dollars. However Paypal does this conversion for you. Before you bid you should have a rough idea of how much US$ is worth compared to your own currency.

Yes, It will work. Ebay has it's own currency converter that will tell you how much it will be in your countries currency. But, You should be able to see that where you type in your bid amount.

The Ebay auction should do this for you. When I buy from UK it lists UK currency and what it is in USA right by bid box
