Google Chrome and Internet Explorer? - Lakeside5 - 04-28-2014 12:45 AM

ok so I downloaded IE 8 and had all sorts of problem. Someone suggested I downloaded Google Chrome which i did. Sometimes the pages do not load, but over all I like it. Having said that I have a work program that uses IE only. Can I have both?? Thanks in advance.

You can have two web browsers, just use IE when you have to use the work program.

Yes, you can have pretty much unlimited different browsers(google chrome, IE, etc.) on one computer. I use IE, firefox and Google Chrome.

Yes, you can use both browsers at the same time, but one has to be set to the default, which is usually no problem anyways. Make sure you uncheck a box that says "Always check to make sure [browser] is the default browser."

You can have many internet browsers as you want but you will only use one for browsing. If you have problem with IE then all you have to do is not to use it. Google Chrome and Firefox is both good for browsing.
