fb tagging- can i escape from a friend's tagging of me on her post (not photo)? - Hannah - 04-28-2014 12:52 AM

even if i have selected, in fb's privacy setting, 'only me' as the audience of posts where i'm tagged in by my friends, can our common friends still see the tag of me in news feeds?

one of my friends like tagging ppl a lot, in either photos or posts- well she didnt shoot me well in the photo =_=’’ anyway i'm going to meet her next week but dont want her tag me in facebook, as i hv refused the invitation from someone else on that day... therefore i dont want my doing on that day known to that 'someone else'. if she tags me as usual in posts or photos, would that 'someone else' see this, becoz the three of us are common friends, even after i hv changed my privacy setting?

Thanks for answering my Q!!

Only actual solution is to untag yourself from the posts or photos. You can't disallow people from seeing another person's content. The privacy settings will only change whether the things you're tagged in show up on your timeline or not.
