I negotiated with a buyer on EBAY and want to sell at lower price than I put on the listing.? - Shakil Ansari - 04-28-2014 12:54 AM

A buyer convinced me to sell my item at a lower price than I put on the listing for the same. the Item was for Rs-20000 but we agreed on Rs-17000. But he and I both are new to ebay and dont know how to go about it without relisting the item.

please help.

Create a bill on Paypal, in the bill you can list all the conditions you want for the sale, you will still be covered via paypal buyer/seller protection. All you need is the buyers email to send the bill too.

Beware with people that choose not to use ebay "they dont have to pay up front when bypassing ebay, and it may be an attempt at hacking you Paypal account (its been done to me). Once you send them the bill via Paypal they will have your account login and all they will need to do is figure out your password "which is a lot easier than you think. This has been done to me and as you will ultimately not lose anything, paypal takes forever to give you your money back.

If anything you can relist the item as a "buy it now" with the best offer option and they can purchase it that way, forcing them to pay up front, also letting you know they are serious buyers.

Hope this helps and good luck with your sale!
