Ebay problem please help? - Alan - 04-28-2014 01:21 AM

I sold an item on ebay and it apparently never turned up and this is the message I got,

The refund includes the purchase price plus original postage & packaging. We will charge your preferred reimbursement payment method for this amount after 10 days from the date of this email. Here are the details:

Does this mean after 10 days they are going to take money out of my account?

Yes.

The seller is legally responsible for ensuring that any item sent gets to the buyer. If it gets lost in the post, you must either replace it or refund the total amount paid.

It's up to you to insure anything against loss or damage if you don't want to stand the costs yourself.

You cannot disclaim responsibility for loss or damage in transit, that's both a breach of ebay rules and unlawful.

You can set your minimum postage costs enough to cover an appropriate level of insurance.

Make sure you always use signed for (for items up to £15) or insured services...

Well what do you think? Do you think that after 10 days, the staff of eBay will dance around your house and offer you free champagne? Come on get real and try to use some common sense when you read something that is written in plain English. How old are you anyway?
