I would like to post messages on the Damascus, Syria police department's facebook page. Will they find out my real name or will I be kept anonymous.

they could get your computer ip and track you down if they wanted

Any post on the Internet can be traced by any hacker or Police Agency.
Security on the Internet does not exist.
