I'm looking for a way to promote my music, but I don't necessarily want to post it all over my current personal facebook page because I already know, some of my friends don't really care about the stuff and some people don't necessarily want to be "thrown" into an artist page if I convert it somehow without choosing if they want to be a fan or not. What is the best and easiest way to set up a page for myself? Do I create a separate page and then have to manage 2 pages or can I link them somehow?

Getting a Facebook page would be useful but a Reverbnation is the best way to get discovered. Same with YouTube. Post your music there and tweet it

make a group and a page aswell, add every one grom your friend list onto that group and let them know how you play.. later tell them to like your page OR you can create an advert but it will cost you.
