Advertising / Marketing Ideas needed ... new free website? - Anthony - 10-15-2012 09:07 PM

I started a new website that lists restaurants that deliver around the country. I am adding new cities each day, and currently have some larger cities such as Las Vegas, Boise, and Fargo on the site. I am starting on a low budget and this is something that I am only doing in my free time. I am having a hard time marketing my site, as I don't really know what approach to take. I have tried the Google Adwords program, as well as the MySpace, Facebook, and Craigslist approach. I tried sending out post cards in Green Bay, and found out the wrong way that it was a pricey mistake. If anyone has any good ideas, I would really appreciate it.

The website is called http://www.WeDoDelivery.com . I have great ideas and plans for the site, I just need to find a way to get the name out there!!! Thank you everyone in advance for your help.

One good way to get the word out about new websites is by submitting press releases. This is a commonly used practice for business large and small. Press releases are easy to write and are used to let the world know about important events or changes. Your site could benefit from this in other ways as well.

Say you submit a press release stating what your site is about and the cities you currently have listed. This could be picked up as news for some of those markets. Press releases are also "hot" news to the search engines.
