Difference between a page and a group on Facebook? - brandon2428 - 04-28-2014 02:05 AM

So, for a game(Samurai Siege), I'm making a page or group for my Alliance members. I don't mind if people see that I created the group, I'm just wondering if my friends see that I created the page/group. Also, whats the difference in a page and a group? Just give a me a simple rundown of it. I was sorta confused looking in the Facebook help guide. Thanks.
I didn't directly say this, so I'll say it. Can people see that I'm the creator of the page as well?

On your facebook page things can be posted and so is a group, however a group can only be seen by the members (up 2 u)and people IN the group can only post

A Facebook Page is a Page Where Anyone Pretty Much Can Like it And You Can Post on it and People can Post On it and See your Posts

Groups Are More Private you Can Make it So That People Wont Be Able to See Certain Things in the Group

On a Facebook page, you are the only person who can post. people can only like, share or comment. On a Facebook group, you are not the only person who send posts, other users whom are members of that group, can post, too. The difference between page and group is in the posting and the management of the environment.

Yes. Users can see the admin of the group.

To add more, a group is a place to discuss and is more subject-driven place. For example, if the group is about trading, you will find topics only about trading, not other things. The same goes for the page.
