Does having a text box with content that only appears when you hover over a link, good for seo? - tinydoll493 - 04-28-2014 02:36 AM

As you know Google love content on a webpage, the more quality, updated content is the better Google will view your website.

My question is:

What is it like from an SEO perspective if instead of having the content on the page, if you had text links, and when you hover over a link the content for that link displays in a text box in front of you.

You won’t have to change page, as the text box will appear with the content on it when you hover over the link.

Is this still good for SEO? As Google can read the content or does it matter it is not visible straightaway to the site visitor?

Many Thanks

What you don't want to do is try to trick Google, now I don't really understand your idea... but if spider can read the content and it's not some trick should be good!

What you're saying is similar to a tooltip that small yellow box that appears when you hover a link with mouse!
