You need to build a lot of links for your website through article marketing, directory submissions, guest postings, blog commenting and other relevant methods to get more visitors.
You also need to promote your website in social media like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, LinkedIn and do some social bookmarks like Digg, Stumbleupon, Reddit. These all will help you to generate good traffic for your website and also rank higher in search engines.

The methods talked about above aren't as effective as they used to be. Contextual links from related blogs are the most powerful links that are working right now. There's two ways to get them: Build a private blog network and use it to link to your site, or, if you can't afford that, use a guest blogging service like Post Runner.

Too much for anyone to write - just have to do it yourself or get a book to help you along.
I found a book called "SEO Organics" on Amazon. It was short and to the point.

Do some some Bookmarking of your site try to drive traffic from facebook, twitter, google plus, and pinterest. Because you should no only depend upon search engine results.
