There are many ways to drive traffic to your website, sometimes you just have to get creative or do what every typical websites do. Do SEO yourself, Social Media Marketing, participate in communities, and etc.
If you don't want to work with SEO companies, you can do SEO yourself. SEO is an on going process so you will have to constantly follow updates and etc to do the best practices. Learn the basics of SEO here:
