Fly.
And as I get older I prefer to fly in the most comfort as I can afford.
Fewer trips but upgraded flights.
I am the worlds worst sailor I get seasick just looking at boats .

Thankfully, I live on the UK Mainland, so if I WAS going to the Shetland Isles I would drive there. However to answer your question, neither but I have and would use both, because I don't intend to let what MAY happen prevent me from living my life.

Security may have made it a bit longer but the flight is a pleasant experience
