if i use facebook connect or google friend, can i use the data for marketing purposes?

You can use facebook for commercial purpose. You can use either adds or Pages. Pages or Fan pages are for free but adds aren't

It's a violation of the FB Developer TOS.

If you are storing user data beyond their session it is 'illegal'. Please note: this means that if a user comes to your site and connects to say.. comment a post with FB Connect, but does not create an account on your site through the Connect interface (automatically transferring their FB info into an account for them on your site) then you cannot.

If they transfer their information and create an account with you, then of course Big Grin
