Monitoring website traffic? - VtotheGizzo - 04-28-2014 03:16 AM

Google Ad Planner is no longer in service, or limited service. I was wondering if there are other sites that provide similar information as Google Ad Planner once did. I am mostly interested in demographics, Page views and unique visitors for a site.

Google analytics is a first class free tool, similar to other tools costing thousands.

A lighter tool that provides basic user stats is the free version of Statcounter.com

Try Statcounter.com (free).

Hi,

Google Analytics have all the information you want. Furthermore, it is free and provides many other tracking tools that you can use and/or customize. You simply have to verify the website with Google and it will do its own thing.

Bing's Webmaster Tools provides the some useful information as well. It is like combining Google Analytics with Google Webmasters into one.

I would sign up for both since Bing provides backlink information and Google Analytics provide some other information you can't find on Bing.
