Computer Wizards-Please Help!? - roundplantation699 - 04-28-2014 03:23 AM

Someone PLEASE help me-I know nothing about the Internet, and my son may be in danger. This is regarding my phone-I checked my security site a couple days ago, and it stated my Chrome Browser site may be at risk-it stated something about the possibility of a hacker. My Chrome Browser site had my Ebay account on it, and I noticed for about a week that it kept giving me the message, "Won't load". I kept hitting the Reload button, but it didn't load. The security site said to update it, but when I did, I can't get Chrome Browser at all anymore. My question, though is this-if someone could've hacked into Chrome and gotten on my Ebay site, could they have also hacked into my other accounts, like my email and Google Drive? I have sent my son's address to some friends through my email, and I looked him on a Google site to see if his information was available, and it was-it showed his address and phone number. For his safety, I won't mention the site I looked up, but I was concerned for his safety because a former church member kept harrassing me by calling me and saying he would find some way to threaten my family. He finally stopped calling, but I'm terrified that if a hacker got on my Chrome Browser, they could have seen my other accounts as well, including my email and Google Drive. The security site stated that only Chrome Browser was at risk, but I want to be certain a hacker couldn't see my other sites too. I am so very grateful for any help you can offer.

Could you supply more information about your security site? Is this literally a website or an antivirus program? What's it called?
