Paypal Refund? International? - MizzTonks - 04-28-2014 03:27 AM Hello; and apologies if this is a silly question. I have two paypal accounts, one in the UK, and one in Norway where I am living now. I transferred £450 from my Norway > UK account, and found out it could take up to 10 days to process this, so I refunded the transaction back to my Norwegian account as I needed the money faster to pay a bill back in the UK. In my Norwegian account, it is showing my refund as completed, yet my balance is 0. And when I log into my UK account to check, £450 is still in that account, yet is saying that the payment has been refunded in full? So I try to send the money, when I am getting an error message which states "We're sorry, but we can't send your payment right now." So which account is my money actually in? And how long until I can actually withdraw my money back to my bank account. Kindest Regards, Stacey - desertcities - 04-28-2014 03:29 AM It's possible the original transaction was being processed and interrupted when you requested the refund back. I'm guessing your funds will revert back to your Norwegian account in a day or two. Also, you might want to contact Paypal directly and let them know that you have the 2 accounts. It could be a temporary security issue because of the two different countries and PP thinking something might be wrong. It might clear up by itself in just a couple of days. Good Luck! |
