Personal experience with iPhone on tmobile network? - jollykitten402 - 04-28-2014 03:33 AM

I'm aware that the networks don't match up, therefore it runs slower.
My question is, is it unbearably slow or is it worth it because it is in iphone?

Thank you Smile

Nothing associated with the iPhone is ever worth it, no matter what network you're on.

In reality, it would seem kind of silly to use an expensive phone capable of high-speed data (well, 3G, anyway) on a network where you'll only get 2G/EDGE speeds. The difference can be dramatic.

And since T-Mobile has been upgrading their network to 4G, you're really going to fall behind.

It's worth it. An iphone is an iphone and tmobile is much cheaper. Being forced to use edge instead of 3g does suck ass, but I had no problem dealing with slow internet for a plan half the price of a verizon or AT&T plan.

Apps like FML or Instagram are still very usable with edge because they use a small amount of data. But when you're browsing the internet, expect to wait at least 1-2 minutes between pages.
