How do I get rid of a yahoo page that is the first page I see when opening up my computer? - thunderingcrow494 - 04-28-2014 03:35 AM

When opening up my computer I should see the "Yahoo Front Page" For some reason I see a page that says " Sorry, the page you requested was not found! I must wait to about a half minutes to get to the Yahoo front page. Too - there is no one to answer any yahoo phones, etc. Sometimes I want to junk Yahoo and go to Gmail. Help.?????

Hi,

That message indicates your internet connection hasn't been fully connected when you open your browser. Since you state that you see it 'when opening up my computer,' I'm assuming it's only a problem when you first turn on your computer or wake it from it's sleep/hibernate mode.

Every computer in existence needs a few seconds to a minute (depending on speed) to connect to the internet before any website will work. I can guarantee that if you were to set Gmail as your homepage, the same thing would happen since it's not a Yahoo issue it's an internet connectivity issue.

Hope that helps!
