I am with internode and I'm just wondering how do I find out how fast my internet connection is like is it 5 mega bites a second or something like that.

go to http://www.speedtest.net.
That will tell you your upload and download speeds

Speedtest.net is good!
So is Dslreports under speed tests, it gives you some choices!
Also, try, Ookla!
