is anyone else aware of a virus attack on yahoo mail and a warning no to proceed? - Mike - 04-28-2014 03:48 AM

when i attempt to go too my mail i get a warning screen from yahoo that someone or something is making an attempt to redirect me to malicious fake yahoo screen. my Kaspersky also warns me that they cannnot guarantee the encryption when i first sign on the yahoo homepage. i have seen on google that there have been many attacks on yahoo. this recent event took place on the morning of 3/11/2104

no, i did not. however, there have been a lot of security issues lately. few weeks ago, many accounts were hacked, according to news papers. thats probably why you got the message. i suggest you unlink your twitter and facebook from your yahoo mail. thats what i did as soon as i read the news. you can do that easily from your facebook account. However, they say google gives out a lot of information to the NSA. Its a dangerous, dangerous world, full of people trying to know about you. But because I dont think NSA will really ever care about my life, and my mere existance will not mean anything to them, i chose my google account to be the primary for facebook.
