is it true that the search engine like wordpress? - Mark - 04-28-2014 03:59 AM

and a website on worpress shows up higher on search engine, is that true?

I doubt it, wordpress has technical issues that make it a bit trickier for search spider,s though it's popular enough for them to adapt to it.

I do believe search engines give blogs in general good ranking due to their regular content updates, searches engines like freshness. Your more likely to make regular updates on a CMS based site where it is easier.

BTW 17% of the top 1 million Alexa sites are wordpress based.

It is not so much about WordPress, it is more about blogging because search engines likes new content and the social activities such as comments.

Hi
Yes.But it is not too much but also it has clean code and easy to content crawling by search engine. So WordPress is search engine friendly as well as users friendly that is reason many people are using it.
Thanks

I think, no. It depends on the content of your website and number and the quality of the links pointing to it (and there are many other factors as well). On the other hand, there some SEO plugins for Wordpress such as Yoast's which definitely can help to get better rankings.
