Strangely worded, sorry. Anyway, one of my IRL friends is very active on Tumblr, usually posting non-stop social justice stuff. It's annoying, and I'd rather not see it. I don't want to unfollow her, because she obsessively checks the amount of followers she has, and I don't want to upset her or start a fight.
Is there a way to "unsubscribe," like on Facebook? Like, still "follow" her, but not see any of her posts?

Yeah just go on the persons info and should say unsubscribe or just block or delete them and that will automaticals do it for you

Don't block them because that's essentially UNFOLLOWING them. If you're using google chrome you can get the tumblr savior plugin, which hides all posts with any keywords in it, so you can hide all the posts made by any blog
