Ok so i work in a super market and there's this cute cashier i want to get to know. She rang me up once and she got all giggly, so i think she might like me too. I happened to find her on facebook so would it be weird to request her even if i don't really know her that well?

Sure. if she asks you why you F/R her, just say you like to add the people you work with, just in case you have questions regarding work, etc.
