I recently flashed cm11 onto my Moto G, soon to discover that my data connection no longer worked. Is this something with TalkTalk because I tried my dads sim (o2) and it worked on that? I can call and send texts, but I cannot connect to the internet through a data connection. Is this something with TalkTalk or does CyanogenMod not compatible with TalkTalk data?
@Android Core i was simply asking which was incompatible. Whether is was my carrier, or if the version of cynogenmod i installed wasn't compatible with my carrier. How am i supposed to know if its compatible!? and i can make texts and call, so i was confused because it is JUST MY DATA that doesnt work.
Thanks for the "help." @androidcore, although you said that i was blaming Cynogenmod, you did help by saying to google the APN for TalkTalk, and luckily they had is on their help page

When you flash a custom ROM that was NOT MADE FOR YOUR WIRELESS CARRIER, then you need to update MMS and DATA APN SETTINGS YOURSELF!
CyanogenMOD doesnt make carrier specific custom roms..... its a general custom ROM... and a damn good one too! So there APN settings are wiped blank!.... ergo----no MMS texting or Cellular data for you!
Call talktalk and get the MMS and Data settings or simply google search them... then manually update your apn settings.... drink beer... enjoy...
Or... put the aluminum foil hat back on... and blame cyanogenmod for thier stupidity for not serving you.
