I have had a twitter for a while, but I just started really using it often. Anyway, I'm confused about a few things. The whole thing where you put "#" Before something and you can click on it and a bunch of tweets come up of people who have put the same thing. And trending topics? What's that? Or does that have nothing to do with twitter...? People have mentioned it so I wasn't sure. I WAS confused about RTing, but I figured it out. Anything else I should know? Also how can I get more followers?

Trending topics is when a lot of ppl on twitter have tweets about the same thing, for example many ppl have tweets with the word #Barbie in it. Then when you click on that word, you can see all the public tweets of ppl who tweeted that word. DMing is when you set a private message to someone- direct messaging. If you want more followers then become famous lol or get ur friends to join twitter and follow u. You can also ask ppl to follow u like u did here.
