Ive been searching for a FB status pulgin for wordpress for weeks now and i havent found one that works. i want to put it on the website so my client can log onto his FB, update his status and have it automatically update on the plugin . PLEASE help, I'm going crazy

Have you tried the Status Press Widget? That's one way to do it with a plugin.
You can also show FB status by adding an RSS widget directly into WordPress (which is pretty much what the plugin does). Here are step-by-step directions with with screen shots that show you how -- http://nasirhayat.com/display-facebook-status-on-wordpress-blog/. It's actually just as easy as setting up the plugin.
