They announced the right to retain it also to share info with authorities if need be. They have already entered into so many agreements with marketing companies to sell your info and allow access... share personal info you give them....and now MORE?

I don't wanna be poked at THAT cost....

You?

You don't think YAHOO is keeping all this stuff? EVERYTHING you put online is possibly gonna come back to bite you.

I think it's an invasion of your privacy to sell your information....but people put the pictures and personal information up there so why do they act so surprised when their identity is stolen. If you don't want the world to have your information then don't give it to them!!!

I think the whole thing has been blown WAY out of proportion because people do not understand legal terminology nor Intellectual Property Law.

They do not claim to own it.

They do need a license from you in order to share it according to whatever your privacy settings indicate.

They also have the right to backup their servers, etc to provide a better service to all.

And if you are breaking the law via your Facebook use, then you deserve to be caught.

To me that`s pretty scarey...Look at the You tube incident with the little boy who went to the dentist??It`s ALL over the internet!!
