Best strategies in SEO is create unique and quality content. and work on latest updates of google algorithm. You should good in keyword research. create good backlinks strategy and put links of your site on high PR and relevant sites. also promote on social media sites.

Build your site so that it will be informative and easy to use. When you are promoting your website, promote it in a way that the most people (especially the most people who would be interested in your site) see it and don't worry as much about SEO. Weirdly, this is the best way to get good rankings in Google.
An agency can help, like others mentioned, but you need a solid foundation from the start.

Keep building articles that are useful for people (at least a few visits everyday), remove the pages which have no visitors for months or very short staying time (compare with your site's average). Be sensitive to the fresh content from media and resources sites. Remember that if you cannot write a first-rate article, you can still integrate the good content together and result in a even better article.
