44 kbps and youtube ..lol
It will take three days to just load google
LMAO @ ABOVE ANSWER
Minimum speed you need is 512 Kbps to watch videos @ 240p (lowest quality) on youtube

for YouTube streaming you have must 512kbps speed minimum. 44kbps speed is very poor for YouTube streaming

44 kbps is very slow speed. You should consider getting at least 512kbps or 1Mbps broadband connection for watching YouTube videos

44 kbps is very poor indeed. For anyone who uses a smartphone - that's slower than the GPRS connection. It will take ages just to load a webpage, with nothing much on it! So Youtube videos - no way!

If you're going to do anything serious on the Internet then 2Mbps would be the bare minimum recommended, but I personally wouldn't use anything less than 10Mbps, especially for YouTube.

unfortunately you live in a country (India) which has very poor infrastructure and therefor bad connection speeds (some people who reply need to educate themselves before answering some questions)

44kbps is very slow compared to most - it's dial up speed and will cause you headaches trying to watch youtube and similar as most sites now have better quality videos which mean bigger file sizes compared to the internet 10 years ago when we only had dial up speeds

don't expect to much from your 44kbps but if that is all you can get for a reasonable price I would suggest the following (if it's not limited to total downloads) to make the best of youtube - find your best videos and download them overnight (using one of the many free youtube downloaders) and save it to disk so you dont have to use your connection to watch it again and gain

44kbps is cheap but dont waste money on it if you want to watch youtube. for youtube you need at least 2 to 3mbps speed, key:
1mbps= 128kbps
2mbps= 256kbps
3mbps= 384kbps
4mbps= 512kbps.

Ideally, for good streaming, you need between 3 to 4 mbps, but if you need cheap connection, then 1mbps is also fine. Atleast, like one answerer has said above, you will be able to download youtube videos and then view them. But 1mbps is not good for streaming.

I don't think any of the broadbands provides speed of 44 kbps...Recheck it

Your require 512kbps net connection in order to watch youtube video.

download seeped is calculate with formula of net speed/8 ex- 512/8 =64kbps downloading speed you will get.

you may install speedbit video accelerator in order to avoid buffering.
