I uploaded a photo a couple of days ago and received around 30 likes on it. The next morning i went on my account and it said i only had 18 likes. when i go and see the people who liked the photo, i can count all 30 yet it says i only have 18 likes under the photo. my friend logged on through my phone onto her instagram and saw that my photo does say 18 likes and she can only see that 18 people liked it. What is going on??

Well its one of two things.
1.) Several people unliked your photo.
2.) Instagrams MySQL database had a row value error or just didn't process right in a PHO script. YouTube has this problem with subscribers as well, as you cannot know the exact number unless you count.
The internet is what it is bro.
