I need a sim card slot for internet connection to work in different countries...How can I tell which samsung tablet has this capability?

It would be listed as having 3G or 4G LTE capability, as opposed to WiFi-only. You'll also want to check to make sure it uses GSM technology, which is much more widespread and common than other technologies like CDMA.

Look for such a tablet from a cell phone provider, not in a regular retail store.
