In short the answer is "Yes" Why? it's cheaper, that's why it's taking off like it is, In the beginning people asked would Android work, some fans of other systems (You know who). said it's no chance. look at it now, 82% of the world market. Why? it's cheaper, Chrome book laptops are the same they have taken off why? they are cheaper.

Why are these systems taking off like they are. Because the system they are running on is Free Open Source Linux operating systems the worlds fastest most secure stable operating system
