I am trying to add the Facebook link onto the Home page of website. Should I add the codes provided by FB to a New Banner or new box? Have never done this before and would love some help!
But when this is achieved will it be put into the Banner or a New box?

Facebook's code is not standard HTML code. You may want to follow the instruction on FB's Developers' pages for installing the code you plan to use.

I wouldn't add it to a banner (across the top), I would try adding it to a new box... Hopefully it will show up on the side.
