Also, is it ironic that I add people I don't even know in real life on FB, but I keep the people I know in real life away from my FB?

Sure, don't add your ex! But no problem with adding your current boyfriend. You can add whoever you want on Facebook.

It depends on the situation. By, its a guy some guys I don't think they would even care but, than some do care. If you are dating a guy who cares he might think your hiding something. Specially, if he's one who likes to keep tabs on his girl to see what's going on in your life but, otherwise either way you go rather you choose to add your bf or not its your decision. Plus, he'll let you know how he feels if you don't add him or not. Dealing with an ex it doesn't matter.
LOL! Well, it is ironic but, hey! Sometimes you just don't want people in your business that's totally understandable but, in the end its your business of what you do on your FB rather its ironic or not =).
