ok so recently this new guy joined my track team, and basicaly i think he is really cute. We haven't talked much, but have introduced ourselves to each other. He friended me on Facebook the other day and I really want to talk to him but i cant decide if it would be weird for me to just message him first? Should I or should i not message him?

you should firstly introduced him very well . if you satisfied with him then you can massage him .

It isn't weird to message him at all! It is always good to start simple, ask him about a track meet the times or who it is against ect. But remember the more you talk to someone online the harder it can get/feel to talk to them face to face. I think it is good to talk to him personally first, then it might be easier to joke around and understand the tone of the messages on Facebook and so on. But it isn't weird for you to message him, but try talking to him face to face so it doesn't get/feel awkward later on! Good Luck!!!

Message him with something innocent. Like "Hey I was gonna ask at the practice, but is this you first time doing track?"
